I met Nancy when I arrived from Cairns in February 2002. She gave me a lot of professional guidance and helped me negotiate and understand copyright issues when I was negotiating for a contract with the Queensland government. I have found her a really nice person, trustworthy, loyal and responsible, with a great knowledge of the art industry.

I’ve worked fairly closely with Nancy lobbying and advocating and I’m very conscious of her will to lobby for emerging and established artists and to give substantial support in order to see those artists represented in the broader art industry.

Nancy from Black Drum Productions assisted us in sourcing catering for the World Indigenous Legal Conference held in Brisbane in June 2014.  From the very first meeting, Nancy was professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.  We discussed with Nancy the theme of the Conference that we wanted to be reflected in the catering and entertainment.  Nancy know immediately what we were trying to achieve and gave us suggestions on how she thought we could best achieve this and she was right.  The food and entertainment delivered throughout the Conference was amazing!!! Everyone was extremely impressed.  We will use Black Drum Productions for all future events. Indigenous Lawyers Association of Queensland (ILAQ)

I have had the opportunity to work alongside Nancy for our past two NAIDOC events. Working within a major corporate organisation requires effective planning and organising. It is important to deliver what you say you are going to do and I am pleased that our event was well prepared and a success as well as providing our organisation with a valuable experience. I highly recommend Nancy for any future event management
